If so, we're hoping to talk to you together. We want to know how you manage your political differences, how you understand each other, and how you maintain a close personal relationship with respect and trust in spite of your differences.
This is an important dimension to our politics because voting studies show that most of our red-blue conflict is explained by lifestyles associated with geography. In other words people who live in rural areas and suburbs tend to vote Red while people who live in cities tend to vote Blue. And people who are married tend to vote Red and people who are single tend to vote Blue. But this can't be the whole story because if you're married and living in the same place with your misinformed 'friend,' these two factors are the same. Thus, geography and lifestyle can't explain that elusive third factor, which is a conservative or liberal ideological worldview.
