Michael Harrington - Writer/producer
Harrington is an awarding winning political scientist, policy analyst and writer. His research expertise covers public policy, political economy, human social behavior, and the role of religion in politics. He also holds advance degrees in finance and economics. His political and policy commentary has appeared in various publications including The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, BusinessWeek, The LA Times, and The Christian Science Monitor. His interest in recent electoral politics stems from a natural curiosity about the oddly-patterned 2000 election results and the media's narrative about Red states and Blue states. The documentary was inspired by his research into the 2000 and 2004 US presidential election results that showed how political reality departs from the popular narrative.

Kuniko Okubo - Co-director,producer
The award-winning creative team of Thomas and Okubo has received praise and recognition worldwide for film work in diverse formats and genres, including feature documentaries, broadcast narrative and documentary work, and Circlevision and IMAX films. Accolades include an Emmy for the series Planet Earth, a Writers Guild Award for the National Geographic Special The Grizzlies, top honors from the San Francisco International Film Festival for Where the Toys Come From, and multiple awards and nominations for Frank and Ollie, including the Audience Award at the Houston International Film Festival, an International Documentary Association Award nomination, and recognition from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Their current project is the feature documentary Walt and El Grupo, about a 1941 trip Walt Disney and his artists made to South American countries on the eve of US entry into World War II.
